Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia — AND Global, a leading innovator in financial technology, was recognized for its significant achievement at the Grand Bull Awards 2023, held this month in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The company’s subsidiary, AND Systems, has won the “Outstanding Event in the Capital Market”,  nomination for its development of the Over the Counter (OTC) trading platform for the Mongolian capital market participants.
Organized by the Mongolian Association of Securities Dealers (MASD), a professional organization and Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) in Mongolia, the Grand Bull Awards 2023 recognized excellence and innovation in the financial sector. The OTC trading platform, operated by MASD and developed, maintained, and upgraded by AND Solutions, stood out for its significant impact on the Mongolian capital market. Developed by AND Systems, a subsidiary of AND Global, the OTC trading platform has revolutionized the way corporate bonds are issued and traded in Mongolia.

Since its launch in September 2021, the platform has facilitated the issuance of 137 corporate bonds from 90 companies, raising over MNT 1.6 trillion (US$ 460 million) in capital. This remarkable achievement has significantly boosted liquidity and accessibility within the Mongolian capital market. Looking ahead, the OTC trading platform is poised to embrace cutting-edge blockchain technology, marking a significant leap forward in securities trading. This transition, currently under regulatory sandbox testing with the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) of Mongolia, promises to further revolutionize the securities trading landscape by introducing blockchain securities.

AND Global‘s leadership in this initiative was evident at the award ceremony, where CEO B.Khos-Erdene and AND Denode CEO D.Bilguun received the accolade. The development of the OTC trading platform was led by the team at AND Denode, a subsidiary of AND Global, which also operates Denode.io, a crypto exchange regulated and approved by the FRC.
